TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF BUSINESS
These Terms and Conditions apply to all quotations, contracts, and works carried out by Stevie Lectrix (“the Company”) and form a legally binding agreement between the Company and the Client. Acceptance of a quotation constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
1. QUOTATION
1.1 Basis of Quotation
All quotations are prepared based on information supplied by the Client relating to the size, layout, boundaries and specification of the project area. The Company accepts no liability for losses, disputes or damages arising from inaccuracies in the information provided.
1.2 Accuracy of Information
Prices are based on the best information available at the time of submission. If inaccuracies are later discovered, the Company reserves the right to issue a revised quotation. Any additional charges must be agreed in writing prior to works proceeding.

1.4 Expiry of Quotation
Quotations remain valid until the expiry date stated. Acceptance confirms agreement to these Terms and Conditions.
1.5 Scope of Works
Only works explicitly detailed within the quotation are included. Any variations, modifications, or additional works must be agreed in writing and may incur additional charges.
2. SCOPE OF WORK
2.1 Standard of Work
All works will be completed to a high professional standard by suitably qualified and competent tradespeople.
2.2 Access & Utilities
The Client must provide:
• Safe and reasonable access to the property
• Access to electricity and water
• Clear working areas free from personal belongings
Failure to do so may result in delays or additional charges.
2.3 Circumstances Beyond Control (Force Majeure)
The Company shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
• Extreme weather • Supplier delays • Material shortages • Industrial disputes • Government restrictions
3. PAYMENT TERMS
3.1 Deposit & Pre-Commencement Payment
All prices are inclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. • Payments made by credit card should be protected under section 75 of the consumer credit act 1974. Payments made by other methods may not be protected.
3.2 Final Balance
The remaining balance is due upon satisfactory completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.3 Late Payment
In the event of any late or unpaid payments, interest will be charged at 3% per annum above the Bank of England Base Rate until the balance owing has been paid. The Company reserves the right to suspend warranty coverage until payment is received in full.
4. RETENTION OF TITLE
All goods, materials, cabinets, appliances and components supplied remain the property of Stevie Lectrix until full payment has been received. The Company reserves the right to recover unpaid goods where lawful to do so.
5. WARRANTY
All items are supplied in the contract are done so with the respective manufacturers warranty. If there are any issues, please contact the company within a reasonable time of discovering the issues in order that this may be considered. Warranty claims must be reported in writing.
6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The company’s may only be liable for any reasonably foreseeable losses suffered as a result of any breach of contract or negligence should this occur.
7. CANCELLATION
Unless there is a statutory right to cancel the contract, deposits may be retained upon the cancellation of the contract by the customer, and any reasonably foreseeable losses may also be recovered. Cancellation must be confirmed in writing.
8. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
In the event of a dispute:
1. Both parties agree to attempt resolution amicably.
2. If unresolved, mediation may be sought before legal action.
3. The contract shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
9. GENERAL
We intend to rely on these written terms and any formal quotation provided. If you require any changes, please ensure these are confirmed in writing to avoid any misunderstanding.
